Assistant Engineer

Assistant Engineers work with the Chief Engineer to maintain onboard machinery, ensuring safe operation. They assist in refueling and fuel transfer operations, complete necessary repairs, and log and record all repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

• Previous experience acting as backup for the Chief Engineer
• DDE 4,000 license preferred but not required
• Experience with refueling and fuel transfer operations
• Ability to prevent equipment failure through proper maintenance
• Ability to assist with necessary repairs in a timely manner
