Job Description
The Broad Institute is seeking a Laboratory IT Specialist to support its research labs by providing IT support, documenting and improving IT processes, and integrating lab equipment into existing Broad IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience supporting Lab IT
- Ability to work under minimal supervision with expert time management
- Previous customer service experience
- Basic network troubleshooting
- Strong OS operation & troubleshooting experience (Windows & Linux)
- Experience with ITILv4 foundational knowledge
- Familiarity with ELNs, Jupyter Notebooks, Graphpad, Prism
- Basic cloud experience, GCP preferred
