Job Description
The Director of IT Audit is a senior leadership role responsible for setting and executing the global technology audit strategy for a large, complex fintech organization.
Requirements
- Lead the global IT audit function
- Develop a risk-based audit plan
- Direct enterprise-wide technology risk assessments
- Oversee audits across core technology domains
- Ensure appropriate audit coverage of cloud environments
- Partner closely with Internal Audit leadership
- Deliver clear, concise, audit committee-ready reporting
- Set and continuously improve IT audit methodology
- Drive a data-informed audit approach
- Oversee issue tracking, validation, and closure testing
- Provide credible challenge and advisory insight
- Lead, coach, and develop a mixed-experience team
- Promote consistency in audit execution, stakeholder engagement, and reporting
