Assistant Professor, Nursing, Probationary Tenure Track

Brock University seeks a Scholar, Registered Nurse, to join the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences and Department of Nursing as an Assistant Professor with a probationary tenure-track position. The successful candidate will support teaching needs in the undergraduate and graduate programs and have a strong commitment to Primary Health Care principles, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Requirements

• Registered Nurses in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligible to obtain registration prior to June 1, 2026
• Proven record of excellence in teaching diverse nursing courses
• Expertise in course development and high-quality instruction
• Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Relevant clinical experience required, clinical background in medical/surgical nursing or critical care preferred
• Developing program of research
• Successful student supervision at the undergraduate or graduate levels an asset
