Job Description
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the course ECON 1P92 - Principles of Macroeconomics. The successful candidate will have a strong academic record, effective communication skills, and be able to meet deadlines. The position is for a nominal workload of 60 hours per half-credit course.
Requirements
- Achieved a minimum of 80% in the course
- At least third- or fourth-year student currently enrolled in an Honours degree in Economics, or who have completed an Honours degree in Economics or equivalent
- Effective communication skills, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines
Benefits
- Paid at the undergraduate rate - $22.07 per hour for employees without a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree
- Paid at the graduate rate - $34.73 per hour for employees with a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree
