Maintenance Technician II

The Maintenance Technician performs technical and mechanical work to ensure properties meet company standards for safety and overall functionality. This position is responsible for day-to-day operation of building equipment, maintaining records, and responding to resident requests.

Requirements

• Repairs, maintains, and installs machines, tools, and equipment
• Responds to resident/management requests and Service Requests
• Collaborates with maintenance staff to perform ongoing preventative maintenance
• Maintains orderly, well-organized, clean equipment rooms and shop areas
• Maintains department inventory, including proper storage and knowledge of appropriate use
• Always maintains awareness of equipment conditions, performing repairs as needed
• Maintains awareness of potential building energy conservation strategies and communicates these to supervisor
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and alterations in residential units
• Assists supervisor in coordination of building operations
• Continuously gains new skills in building systems operations
