This is a hybrid engineering and customer-facing role focused on developing technical proposals and solutions for advanced automation systems. The role partners with customers and internal teams to define scope, develop pricing, and drive North American sales efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience
- 5–8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing, or sales engineering role
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, industrial automation, or advanced manufacturing environments
- Experience in developing or supporting technical proposals, quotations, or customer solutions
- Ability to evaluate complex technical requirements and shape solutions that align with customer business objectives
- Experience creating and presenting sales proposals
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Personable and outgoing; comfortable speaking in front of groups of people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured proposals and customer-facing materials
