Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will support the objectives of production through the Maintenance function by the implementation of assigned tasks, supplying continuity between engineering and managerial functions. Maintains (through preventative maintenance) repairs and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical systems for production equipment.
Requirements
- Associates degree in a technical discipline or a minimum of 5 years in Industrial Maintenance in a manufacturing setting
- Experience troubleshooting PLC's, instrumentation, and other electronics
- PC literacy and proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment and procedures
- Basic Welding Skills
- Familiarity with OSHA and Environmental Regulations
- Good communication skills and ability to work a flexible working schedule including shift work
- Ability to push, pull, bend, and/or lift up to 50 lbs
