The Director of Investor Relations will be responsible for executing investor relations focused initiatives for existing and prospective investors in Brookfield Infrastructure Group's private funds, leading and executing investor relations strategies, capital raising for private funds and co-investments, and contributing to strategic initiatives to service Brookfield's private fund global investor base.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance or accounting;
- CPA, MBA and/or CFA designation is preferred;
- 6+ years of relevant experience in any of the following disciplines: investor relations, corporate development, investment banking, or capital markets;
- Experience working with private fund investors;
- Real asset experience, particularly in Infrastructure, will be viewed as a benefit;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of dealing with varying levels of seniority within and outside of the organization;
- Analytic and strategic thinker with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations, with strong attention to detail;
- Excellent organizational skills and capability to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive priorities while meeting timelines;
- Proactive self-starter who is able to handle pressure effectively and has experience working with senior management teams;
- Team-oriented; demonstrates a commitment to shared success above any personal accomplishment or recognition.
