Leasing Consultant

We are seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team at Brookfield Properties. As a Leasing Consultant, you will meet with prospective residents, identify their housing needs, and show vacant and model suites. You will also maintain social media activities, prepare leases, and ensure timely input of leasing data. This position requires a High school diploma/GED, Associate degree in Customer service/Hospitality preferred, and 1-2 years of Leasing or sales experience.

Requirements

• Meet with prospective residents, identify their housing needs, and show vacant and model suites
• Maintain social media activities, prepare leases, and ensure timely input of leasing data
• Collect funds related to applications, security deposits, and rentals
• Manage all internet leads and proper follow up
• Maintain lease records and files
• Maintain property waiting list and other updates to various records and reports
• Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy by inspecting, placing move-in products and last-minute touches when necessary
• Distribute keys, move-in package, safety video, and other appropriate paperwork at time of lease signing
• Maintain current knowledge of marketing and leasing techniques
• Strive to attain affirmative marketing goals
• Seek out new residents through outreach, direct marketing, cold calling, distributing literature, and contacting government, social, religious, and community organizations
