Job Description
Brookfield Renewable, as one of the world’s largest owners, operators, and developers of renewable power, is seeking an Analyst, Settlement & Structured Transactions to join their team in Gatineau, QC, Canada. The Analyst will be responsible for the settlement of energy market trades and long-term contracts, ensuring daily and monthly settlement tasks are completed and collaborating with various departments to ensure data accuracy in financial and regulatory reports.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in a related field, preferably in the energy industry
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to locate and collect data from appropriate sources and analyze it to prepare meaningful and concise reports
- Advanced Excel skills (i.e. Macros, Pivot Tables, Visual Basic, Power Query)
