Park Steward (Seasonal)

Brookfield Renewable is recruiting for seasonal Park Stewards to support Falls View Park on a 6-month contract. The Park Stewards provide a vigilant set of eyes for BRP as to proper use of the park, as well as limited details about the site's history and genesis.

Requirements

• Presents limited and repetitive pre-established talks
• Answers visitor inquiries and provides public information
• Show visitors through the building/site, telling the story of events which took place here
• Provides information on a variety of subjects and interprets park values for visitors
• Facilitates visitor understanding and enjoyment of the park
• Facilitates visitor compliance consistent with resource protection efforts
• Encourages park visitors to develop a sense of stewardship of Park resources
• Assists with program administration, including record-keeping and correspondence
• Assists the public with questions/concerns
