Senior Systems Analyst

Brookfield Renewable is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to design and implement cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Data Factory, DevOps, and SQL. The successful candidate will have strong skills in data modeling, data ingestion pipelines, and SQL development.

Requirements

• Design and implement data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, ensuring efficient and secure data flow.
• Build and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures for performance and reliability.
• Develop cloud-based systems and software integrations using Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, SQL and DevOps.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to configure and implement new features and applications.
• Analyze both functional and non-functional requirements to provide accurate estimates for development efforts.
• Stay informed about the latest Fabric features, updates, and enhancements to recommend improvements and optimizations.
• Engage with Citizen Developers and Power Users, offering guidance on best practices to enhance their effective use of Fabric platform.
• Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date documentation.
