
Job description
The Senior Financial Accountant focuses on generating, preparing, and communicating financial information to support decision making, management, internal controls, and financial reporting. They are responsible for corporate accounting, real estate accounting, and reporting activities within the Corporate Accounting & Reporting team.
Preparing journal entries, analyzing financial data, preparing periodic reports, training and mentoring junior accountants, supporting SOX 404 package, and preparing support data for financial reporting requirements.
This role requires a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in public accounting or real estate accounting and a CPA certification is preferred.
