Research Associate – Time-resolved studies of Quantum Materials using coherent x-rays

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate to develop and perform x-ray pump-probe experiments on quantum condensed matter systems. The successful candidate will design, build, and operate ultrafast laser amplifier setups integrated with x-ray instrumentation to investigate light-induced dynamics in solids.

Requirements

• PhD in physics, materials science, physical chemistry or related field
• Extensive experience in designing, setting up, and conducting condensed matter experiments using ultrafast laser systems
• Demonstrated proficiency in programming language, such as Python
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
