Applications Engineer

Brooks Automation is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions, with a focus on semiconductor manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience in building embedded systems, understanding electronic components, and working knowledge of system-level wiring diagrams.

Requirements

• Experience in building embedded systems for Production Equipment such as mechatronic systems/robotic automation/semiconductor industry/machine tending automation
• Understanding of electronic components such as sensors, switches, relays, actuators, etc.
• Able to understand system-level wiring diagrams
• Minimum 3-years' experience in a fast-paced customer-facing technical role
• Graduated from technical school with 5+ years’ experience or equivalent
• Able to travel regionally and internationally as required
• Fluent in Japanese, Intermediate in English
