Associate General Counsel

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, supporting the Office of General Counsel, monitoring regulatory compliance, and advising administrators, faculty, staff, and the District Board of Trustees on legal matters.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the Florida Bar or passing the Florida bar and being licensed within 12 months of employment.
• Three or more years of legal experience, with contract negotiation experience preferred.
• Experience with contract management software (Cobblestone) – preferred.
• Experience with Florida’s Sunshine law/public records requirements – preferred.
• Law Review/journal experience – preferred.
