FACILITIES SERVICEPERSON

Perform semi-skilled work involving heavy cleaning, maintenance, and repair of schools and buildings to maintain cleanliness, orderliness, appearance, and safe condition.

Requirements

• Clean all areas assigned, including cafeteria, restrooms, offices, gymnasium, halls, outside areas, and others as scheduled and according to custodial standards.
• Empty trash and debris from offices, classrooms, hallways, repair shops, etc., and dispose of properly.
• Perform heavy lifting, including removing garbage cans or compactor bags to the dumpster.
• Operate heavy equipment, including stripping and sealing floors, and heavy duty wash and dry vacuums.
• Identify and report building equipment, mechanical equipment, and structural problems that require servicing or maintenance.

• Hourly rate: $15.84 - $27.29 per hour
