FACILITIES SERVICEPERSON

To perform semi-skilled work involving heavy cleaning, to maintain the cleanliness and safe condition of schools and buildings. The Facilities Serviceperson shall carry out various duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and performing heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Ability to complete the Basic Facilities Service job related training program and receive a Basic Facilities Service certification
• Ability to perform custodial work
• Ability to operate labor saving devices such as shampoo and scrubbing machines
• Ability to do heavy lifting, climb ladders, and follow written and oral instructions in English
• Computer skills
• Standard high school diploma or GED
• Ability to work well with others
• Bilingual skills
