Risk Analyst

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is a premier global financial services firm seeking a Risk Analyst – Operational Due Diligence to join its Risk Team. The role involves supporting the operational due diligence review process and ongoing monitoring for investment managers approved for the Capital Partners investment platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
• Master’s degree and/or CPA, CFA, or CAIA preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g., operational due diligence, audit, accounting, fund operations, or investment management compliance)
• Understanding of risk management concepts, control design, and common governance frameworks
• Ability to analyze business processes, identify key operational risks, assess severity, and evaluate mitigating controls
• Sound judgment and ability to synthesize incomplete information into clear conclusions and next steps
• Knowledge of fund structures, investment operations, trading workflows, portfolio compliance, and related systems
• Strong relationship management skills and comfort engaging with external managers and internal partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
