Job Description
Brown & Brown is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Plano, TX. The Business Analyst will work with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and manage requirements that support strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar position
- Experience with requirements gathering techniques (e.g., interviews, questionnaires, user observation, etc.)
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams
- Experience working with project tracking tools, such as Azure DevOps (preferred)
- Proven experience working with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and business applications
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate both horizontally and vertically across the organization
- Experience using data visualization and process mapping tools, such as Microsoft Visio
- Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with technology-related issues and complex business scenarios
- Business Analyst certification (Preferred)
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Preferred)
