Job Description
Collections Specialist role involves working with agents and underwriters/brokers to collect cash on accounts, handling collections of all audits, and assisting with cancellations and reinstatements. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
- Has supervised teammates/processes in a previous position (preferred)
- Has Insurance accounting or collections experience (preferred)
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to direct other employees
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
