Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant position at a unique company culture that rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for customers. Leads accounting functions for profit centers and ensures accounting functions are performed in accordance with BBAG or GAAP.

Requirements

• Prepares journal entries and reviews general ledger and financial statements for reasonableness
• Accumulates and analyzes information for financial statements and reports
• Prepares and/or reviews monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepares month-end reports and reconciliations
• Prepares monthly accrual journal entries for expenses
• Reviews and analyzes general ledger account balances
• Answers inquiries from internal and external customers
• Verifies accuracy of accounting data and makes recommendations for corrections
