Athletics Public Address Announcer

Brown University Athletics is seeking candidates for multiple Athletics Public Address Announcer positions. The public address announcer position is responsible for informing everyone in the attendance at an athletic contest any and all pertinent information that is occurring during the event.

Requirements

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of a given sports rules and regulations.
• Must have a knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to learn, specific game protocol as it pertains to Ivy League and NCAA rules.
• Must be able to observe and react to events on the field/court/athletic venue in order to accurately announce information.
• Must have an excellent speaking voice and ability to project and annunciate and the ability to read announcements in a timely fashion.
• Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
