CNC Setup/Operator (2nd Shift)

Role Overview

Perform CNC set-ups and machine operations; load and edit programs; read blueprints and inspect finished parts. Perform manual machine operation set-ups and processes; read blueprints and inspect finished parts. Also perform Orbit Forming and Roller setup and operations.

What You Will Do

Read measuring tools (dial calipers, micrometers); read and interpret engineering blueprints and work orders/instructions; perform manufacturing duties to meet daily production standards of quality and quantity.

Requirements

• High school or general education degree (GED) required.
• One year of basic CNC machine operation or one semester of Technical College CNC machine operation completion.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Complete standardized written documentation and correspondence.
• Professionally communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to perform basic electronic tasks using computer software and Microsoft Office.
