Senior Data Scientist

Senior Data Scientist job at BT Group, responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytical and AI solutions across BT Sourced, with a focus on machine learning, generative AI, experimentation, and production-grade model deployment.

Requirements

• Experience in a Data Science role with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions
• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks and the development and deployment of end-to-end ML pipelines & Gen AI models
• Experience building & deploying ML models in production using tools like Airflow, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Databricks or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with any major cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) including ML/AI services or hybrid environments
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning, RAG systems, multi-agent workflows
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vector DBs (Pinecone, etc.)
• Exposure to basic frontend frameworks (e.g., Next.js) is a bonus but not required
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into measurable analytical frameworks
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
