Job Description
Test Automation Engineer for BT's security team, providing assurance of secure platforms, supporting delivery teams, and providing technical coaching and mentoring. The role involves writing automated test scripts, using automation frameworks and tools, and supporting existing systems. The position requires a broad understanding of networking fundamentals, databases, and software methodologies.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of writing automated test scripts and their execution
- Knowledge of and experience with a variety of automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with dedicated Test Management tool
- Experience with different scripting languages
- Knowledge of software methodologies such as Waterfall/V model, agile, lean, incremental
- Understanding of Databases and SQL
- Broad understanding of networking fundamentals
- Either qualified to degree level with some experience as a Technical Engineering professional, or significant experience of technical delivery
