Job Description
The Buck Institute for Research on Aging invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. This position is established to honor the scientific legacy of Dr. Judith Campisi, a pioneer in the field of cellular senescence and its roles in aging and age-related disease.
Requirements
- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and a minimum of three years of postdoctoral experience with a strong record of research accomplishments
- Clear demonstration of the potential to establish and lead a cutting-edge research program focused on senescence, cellular aging, and/or geroscience
- Proven leadership experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster team-based, interdisciplinary, and collaborative research within the Institute and across the aging research community
