The Freight Coordinator position's primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement, “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” The coordinator performs a variety of operational tasks assigned by store management.
Requirements
- Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received
- Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx
- Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips
- Double-check that all transfers have been processed through the register
- Visual Merchandise Management
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Point of Sale (“POS”) software
- Maintain all shipment-related paperwork
- Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts
- Make FedEx labels for all packages being sent out
- Send in recalls and Return to Vendors (RTVs)
- Keep supplies in stock and organized
- Organize fixtures and shelving
- Engage in activities that support a neat, clean, and organized work area
- Communicate policy violations to Store Manager, District Manager, and/or Human Resources
- Provide feedback to Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Floor Leaders
- Understand and apply the Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all Buckle’s policies, procedures, and handbooks
- Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned
