The Sales and Management Intern position is responsible for fulfilling Buckle's mission statement by providing legendary service to Guests, generating sales, and performing various sales, merchandising, and operational tasks. Interns will work closely with Store Management to develop an understanding of Buckle's retail business and management skills.
Requirements
- Greet Guests with a friendly attitude
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise
- Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Achieve personal sales-per-hour and total net sales goals
- Provide legendary service throughout the store
- Help Guests try on or fit merchandise
- Check out and bag purchases
- Prepare merchandise for alterations
- Knowledgeable of all exchange and return procedures
- Fill out and effectively use the Sales Presentation Guide (SPG)
- Place Special Orders or call other stores to find desired merchandise
- Maintain and build good Guest relationships
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Buckle's customer service expectations
