Job Description
BHSC is recruiting a Fee for Service licensed pediatric SLP to work with early intervention and preschool students in the Pembroke area. The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and recommendation for therapeutic intervention for young children with communication disorders.
Requirements
- Display competence in the area of speech-language impairment
- Determine type and severity of speech-language impairment
- Determine prognosis and appropriate treatment for speech-language impairments
- Evaluation, diagnosis, and recommendation for therapeutic intervention
- Implementation of an appropriate Speech-Language Pathology treatment program
- Submits written reports of evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge reports
- Communicates regularly with family/client
- Exhibit professional judgment, maturity, and upgrades professional knowledge through continuing education
