The Social Media Coordinator will be a crucial member of the social media team, contributing to day-to-day coverage of Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits, and other related properties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sports Management, Public Relations, or similar field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience managing brand social media accounts
- Available to work evening, weekend, holiday hours as needed (including travel)
- Great understanding of social media platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere
- Strong understanding of social-first video content
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of the sport of hockey / the NHL a plus
- Critical Competencies: Strong attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills; Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills; General knowledge of Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere; Passionate about customer service; Must be dependable, willing to take initiative, and adapt to a variety of situations including a fast-paced environment
