Job Description
Bugcrowd is looking for a Product Security Engineering Manager to lead the execution of application security, platform security, and federal programs. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in cybersecurity, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Product Security, Application Security, or Platform Security
- 2+ years of experience directly managing and mentoring a team of security engineers
- Program and project management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby, Java)
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Compliance requirements such as Fedramp, PCI, SOC2, ISO27001, NIST 800-53
