Job Description
Join the BuildAbility Team as a Mentor to assist individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in reaching their goals and increasing their independence. As a Mentor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one skills training, advocating for participants' inclusion in the community, and empowering them to exercise their rights.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities, family members, employers, and others in a positive and constructive manner
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid California Driver's License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
