Senior Software Engineer

Builder.io's Fusion engineering team is a fast-growing team focused on developing the Fusion project, an AI Software Engineer that enables Product Managers, Designers and Engineers within an organization to contribute seamlessly to your company's codebase and product.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a proven track record of shipping complex products to production.
• Deep expertise in React (or other modern frontend development framework) and Node.js/TypeScript, with an eye for performance and architectural patterns.
• Strong Product Intuition: You care about why you are building something as much as how. You are comfortable making product micro-decisions and dealing with ambiguity.
• A Customer-First Mindset: You are comfortable speaking directly with customers, asking the right questions to uncover the root problem, and owning the resolution.
• Cloud Fluency: Experience architecting scalable systems on AWS or Google Cloud.
• High Agency: You don't wait for a ticket to be perfectly defined; you seek out the problem, define the solution, and deliver value iteratively.
