Requirements
- Undertake the mastery of VectorWorks CAD software
- Learn and develop a foundational knowledge of applicable construction codes
- Make revisions to existing āsales confirmationā drawings, elevations, and foundation designs
- Learn and become capable of calculating header sizing for open spans, windows, doors, and other penetrations in load-bearing walls
- Learn, and accurately produce, first-draft āsales confirmationā drawings, elevations and foundation designs
- Begin basic electrical layouts and roof truss designs and layouts
- Learn and fully-comprehend preparation of accurate and detailed reports (state and HUD label reports) and preparation of data plates for individual builds
