Outside Sales Representative

We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As a representative, you will demonstrate in-depth knowledge, experience, and skills to effectively represent the company with our largest or most complex customers. You will possess the experience and knowledge to effectively handle complex or highly specialized customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or related field
• Two (2) years prior sales experience
• In-depth knowledge of company products, services, production processes, and product standards
• In-depth understanding of policies and procedures relating to sales and customer service
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
• Demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner
• Highly effective selling skills
• Ability to achieve aggressive sales goals and objectives
• Highly effective presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and work unsupervised
• Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
• Ability to utilize background and experience to provide training and development to less experienced Outside Sales Reps
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Office Suite
• Valid driver's license
