Job Description
Regional Safety Manager is responsible for providing safety and health leadership to industrial operations within the region and/or business unit across Bunge North America. The position will require 50% travel and will be based out of one of the following locations: St. Louis, MO; Bellevue, OH; Destrehan, LA; Council Bluffs, IA; Morristown, IN; Remington, IN; Decatur, AL; Decatur, IN; Gibson City, IL.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or engineering with an emphasis in safety, or closely related field, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of manufacturing safety experience or related food/agribusiness experience
- Demonstrated experience with making improvements in SIF potential incidents (Serious Injury, Fatality) and HPE's (High Potential Exposures)
- Experience with Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) and deployment at the plant level
- Experience working with multiple sites
- Demonstrated success in the application of safety standards, compliance with safety regulations, and the promotion of a safe working environment
