Senior Legal Counsel

The Senior Counsel – LATAM plays a crucial role in providing legal counsel and support to Bunge's LATAM business operations concerning food solutions transactions. Provides legal advice and support on a diversified scope and expertise based on the nature and requirements of the business team.

Requirements

• Provide legal advice and counsel to business units and functional teams on a wide range of corporate, commercial, labor and employment, regulatory and litigation matters
• Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, including supply agreements, transfer, handling and storage agreements, service agreements, and transportation related agreements
• Conduct legal due diligence and drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Advice on legal aspects of domestic business transactions
• Represent Bunge in negotiations with external parties, including customers, suppliers, and regulators
• Collaborate with external counsel and other professionals to ensure the company's legal interests are protected
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to assigned corporate and commercial transactions
• Provide training on legal matters applicable to the business day-to-day activities as well as on internal legal guidelines and/or policies
