Job Description
Bureau Veritas Canada is looking for a Field Technician 1 - Grande Prairie. The ideal candidate will have a 2-year technical diploma or relevant chemistry related work experience, basic understanding of well and plant processing techniques, and basic knowledge of sampling methods and theories. The job requires conducting field sampling projects, reviewing data, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves performing equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration, and supporting lab and health and safety meetings.
Requirements
- 2-year technical diploma or relevant chemistry related work experience
- Basic understanding of well and plant processing techniques and concepts
- Basic knowledge of sampling methods and theories
- Basic understanding of chemistry, plumbing, and electrical techniques and concepts
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours in the field
- Knowledge of safe work procedures and requirements
- Good driving record with less than 6 demerits and meets federal carrier driver requirements
