Inland Navigation Surveyor

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Surveyor Inland Navigation to expand its team and strengthen its services in the maritime and offshore transportation industry. The role involves independently controlling ships under construction and/or in service based on standards and technical specifications, checking new equipment and in-service equipment against Bureau Veritas rules and international regulations, and assisting clients in obtaining a result in accordance with the regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in maritime engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, naval architecture or maritime higher education
• Practical experience in maritime transport
• Experience in naval inspections
• Ambitious and dynamic individual with excellent communication skills
• Mastery of Dutch, French, or English, both orally and in writing
