Cybersecurity SIEM Engineer ( Security Information Event Mgmt. Engineer)

BTI is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity SIEM Engineer to support the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. The role is responsible for administering, maintaining, and tuning SIEM technologies to maximize threat detection, security visibility, and operational effectiveness across NREL’s enterprise environment.

Requirements

• Administer, maintain, and tune SIEM technologies
• Implement and maintain SIEM platforms and related components
• Test, implement, and tune on-premises and cloud-based environments
• Develop SIEM content to enhance cybersecurity operations
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate SIEM platforms
• Create and maintain architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures
• Contribute to cybersecurity program improvement initiatives
• Support projects to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and maturity of NREL’s cybersecurity posture
