Electrical and Mechanical Assembler

Role Overview

BW Converting Solutions is seeking Electrical and Mechanical Assemblers to fit and assemble mechanical and/or electrical components according to prints or sketches, and construct high-speed, precision machine equipment. The positions are second shift working 4 days a week.

What You Will Do

Read and analyze assembly and electrical prints/bills of material and order acknowledgment documentation to plan machine-building operations. Fit and assemble components according to specifications using proper tools and verifying conformance of parts.

Why It Might Be a Fit

A technical degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred, or a high school diploma with a minimum of one year experience related to mechanical, HPL, and/or electrical assembly of industrial machinery.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field
• High school diploma with a minimum of one year experience related to mechanical, HPL, and/or electrical assembly of industrial machinery
• Ability to assemble both mechanical and electrical components according to prints and sketches
• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
• Possess appropriate hand tools
