Electrical & Mechanical Assembly Technician

Role Overview

Afinitas is hiring an Electrical & Mechanical Assembly Technician to oversee the assembly and routing of electrical systems, resolve personnel issues, and promote safety within the team. The role involves working in a plant/manufacturing environment with industrial machinery and chemicals.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will assemble machinery, route hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and weld structural components from blueprints. They will also meet established production and quality standards, support the team, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
• Good electrical and robotics aptitude
• Ability to read drawings and AWS weld symbols
• Add, subtract, divide, and multiply whole numbers/fractions
• Knowledge of overhead crane use and operation
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently
• Ability to comply with all work-related deadlines and work overtime when required
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
• Good housekeeping habits and strict adherence to safety procedures
