Mechanical/Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

As a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer at BW Papersystems, you will design new machines and modernize existing ones, working closely with various teams to develop technical solutions efficiently and economically. You will analyze technical specifications, create design documents, and support product management and customer visits. This role requires a technical degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or automation technology, and several years of professional experience in similar tasks.

What You Will Do

Your tasks will include independent design of new machines, processing customer-specific special machine and plant inquiries, close cooperation with construction, purchasing, project management, and assembly, and analysis of technical specifications and support for new developments.

Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or automation technology
• Several years of professional experience in similar technical tasks
• Very good English skills in writing and speaking
• Safe handling of MS Office, SAP, and CRM systems (mainly Microsoft D365)
• Analytical, solution-oriented thinking, quick understanding, self-initiative, sense of responsibility, and high team skills
