Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

Perform engineering duties in the design or alteration of machines, sections, systems, units, or parts with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation in support of the business segment. Applies engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, repair, and test machines and other mechanically functioning equipment.

What You Will Do

Create concepts for new machine functions, create technical solutions and assembly drawings, contact suppliers, support purchasing, create product concept catalogue and specification workbook, read and interpret blueprints, confer with engineers, research and analyze customer design proposals, specify system components, investigate equipment failures.

Requires 5+ years of experience, 4-year Engineering degree, Solid Works experience, and knowledge of OEM equipment design and the hygiene, personal care, or converting industries.
