Job Description
BWXT Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Experienced CNC Machinist to work on large-scale precision components for naval nuclear reactors. This is a low-volume, highly-engineered manufacturing environment requiring precision and attention to detail. The role involves operating CNC machines, verifying product quality, and collaborating with engineering teams. BWXT values innovation, teamwork, and providing a supportive work environment.
Requirements
- High school equivalency with a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience
- Associate’s of Applied Science degree in Machining Tool and Die or equivalent training plus two (2) years of on-the-job experience
- Experience with grinders, tool setters, jacks, clamps, bolts, shims, jigs, fixtures, angle plates, rules, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gages, levels, protractors, verniers, and light hand tools.
- US citizenship with no dual citizenship is required
- U.S. work permit and valid work authorization required
