Network Security Engineer (m/w/d)

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to configure and maintain network components, design and implement security solutions, and ensure the company's data and infrastructure are protected.

Requirements

• Design and implementation of security solutions at network and host level
• Responsibility for antivirus solutions, web application firewalls, as well as IDS & IPS
• Ensuring the functional capability and current state of the managed systems
• Support for security audits and penetration tests
• Control of external service providers
• Several years of professional experience in network administration
• Good knowledge in the areas of network security and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS systems and firewall administration
• Experience with security monitoring tools
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Secure negotiation skills in German and good English skills
