The Network Engineer II role involves ensuring the stability and integrity of data and voice networks by planning, designing, and implementing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization.
Requirements
- BS/BAs degree in IT or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in similar role
- Network focused industry certifications
- Expert level knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices
- High-level knowledge of QoS, MPLS, Ethernet, VLAN's, routing protocols
- Previous experience supporting a multi-site, interconnected network environment with 500+ employees
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
