Job Description
CAA Niagara is seeking a motivated and hands-on Automotive Apprentice Mechanic (310S or 310T) to join their Fleet team. The successful candidate will assist licensed mechanics with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of their fleet vehicles and equipment. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability, with the opportunity to develop technical skills through on-the-job training and progress to a Licensed Mechanic position within the organization.
Requirements
- Assist licensed mechanics with the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (oil changes, fueling, cleaning, parts replacement, etc.)
- Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate service and repair records as required
- Communicate repair status updates with mechanics, drivers, and leadership
- Support facility maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and operational procedures
- Contribute to high levels of driver and member service satisfaction
